As Yang-Ward Foundation is diversifying its project types based on needs of the project beneficiaries, we got to know about our new project beneficiary through our volunteer, Sulav Khanal. Sulav visited Himala Rinjali Magar, our new project beneficiary who showed her interest in starting a retail shop to improve her economic condition. Despite her poor economic condition, Himala Rinjali Magar showed strong desire to work something on her own to turn her life around.
On the auspicious occasion of Nepali New Year 2075 (April 14, 2018), Yang-Ward Foundation launched a project “Kirana Pasal” (Retail Shop” with the goal of gaining financial independence for our project beneficiary, Himala Rinjali Magar. She is the resident of Bardaghat-11, Mauranhatadi, Nawalparasi. As her house is not in the central location and designed for the retail shop,we are renting a room in the central location to start this project. All the necessary items for the shop were handed over to Himala Rinjali Magar by ex-constituent assembly member, Bikram Khanal, father of our volunteer, Sulav Khanal. The handing over program was attended by local people and community leaders.
On behalf of our project beneficiary, Himalai Rinjali Magar, Yang-Ward Foundation would like to thank Sulav Khanal, and Bikram Khanal for their help in implementing this project. All the best with your new business, Himala! We all are rooting for your success.
